ANNOUNCING INNOVATIVE IDEAS FROM STAGE 1

Shell Ideas360 2017/18 - Stage 1 Results

67 teams make it through to Stage 2 of this year’s Shell Ideas360

Over the period of Sept 2017 and Jan 2018, over 15,000 students from across 140 countries joined us on a unique journey of learning & discovery. As part of the global student programme, students developed over 3363 ideas and nearly 1110 of them were eligible to compete for the next stage.

Our team of expert reviewers, in Energy, Food, & Water, had a very competitive set of game changing ideas to consider. We continue to be amazed by the innovative thinking demonstrated by students globally.

Today we announce the 67 ideas that have made the cut to secure a place in Stage 2 of the programme. Students qualifying to Stage 2 will have an exclusive opportunity to further develop and conceptualize their idea, gain access to a dedicated Shell mentor, join exclusive Masterclasses with subject matter experts and hone critical skills that will enhance your future career prospects. The selected teams have until April 20, 2018 to submit a Project Proposal and team video.

You are now in the running to win a spot in the finals of Shell Ideas360, trip to London to attend the Shell Ideas360 final event and participate in Make The Future Live, Shell’s annual festival of ideas and innovation. You also will have an exclusive opportunity to pitch your idea to senior Shell executives, Innovators and Industry leaders.

For those of you who did not submit an idea or haven’t been selected, the journey has lots more in store for you. Join us in a series of global webcasts with inspirational speakers, engage in a community of global student innovators, and continue your journey of learning and discovery that can help you succeed in your studies and enhance your career prospects.
